Beyond the pulpit
Welcome to a glimpse into my life beyond ministry. Here, I share the joys and experiences that shape who I am, from family life to personal passions.

Family Life: My greatest joy
Beyond the pulpit, the love of my family weaves together my life. I feel truly blessed to be married to my wonderful husband, Kevin, and together we share the joy of raising our three incredible kids: Noah, Hudson, and Harper-Grace. We’ve also had the privilege of nurturing Kevin's eldest daughter, who is now 18 and blossoming into her own.
Our family is a beautiful tapestry of neurodiversity, as one of our children is on the autism spectrum. This journey has ignited my passion for supporting children with special needs—a calling that began in my twenties when I volunteered with the Toronto Special Olympics After-School program. Every moment spent creating cherished memories with my kids and nurturing these priceless relationships is what truly enriches my daily life.

Passions and Reflections
Outside of my ministry work, I absolutely love finding joy in the simple things and building meaningful connections. I'm a big fan of reading and writing, always diving into new ideas and jotting down my thoughts. The kitchen is another favourite spot of mine—whether I'm whipping up something delicious or getting inspired by cooking shows, it's always a fun time. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a good cup of coffee while reflecting on life!
I find a lot of peace spending time in nature, especially taking walks by the water; it really helps me reconnect with God. I’m also a huge bird watcher and animal advocate. I have had the chance to volunteer with the World Wildlife Foundation, which aligns perfectly with my passion for animals and nature. I genuinely cherish deep conversations and love connecting with people from all walks of life!
"Connecting with Amanda has been a profound experience; her genuine warmth and insightful perspectives extend far beyond her sermons, truly reflecting a life dedicated to faith and family."
